Coinbase is the most well-known Cryptocurrency wallet. I have been involved in Cryptocurrency for the last 7 years and Coinbase is the wallet I use. When I go in to view my account, I have no problem understanding exactly how much money I have, when it came, and where it is.
As you can see, I have the dates and type of bitcoin received right out there for me to read and understand. And, if I want to know how the various cryptocurrencies are doing, well, I just look at my dashboard. It can be shown in hour, day, week, month and year examples. Below is a year example.
You notice that they are showing Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and even Litecoin. They will add more when they are safe to buy and sell with on a regular basis. Since I wrote this, there have been incredible increases in bitcoin. That last time I looked, it was worth $48,000 and rising. And there are many more cryptocurrency coins available now.
The newer coins have information on them that you can read and actually make cryptocurrency by keeping yourself up to date on the newer offerings. You also will make money by referring your friends to this website.
What is a Coinbase Account?
Coinbase is a digital currency wallet where you can securely store digital currency. And, connect your bank account, debit card, or credit card so that you can exchange digital currency into and out of your local currency. Cryptocurrency is much more accepted nowadays because it in a decentralized currency and no one country or state can totally have it for themselves.
How do you Buy Digital Currency?
- Once logged in to the Coinbase app, select the Menu icon near the top-left.
- Select ‘Buy’.
- Enter the amount of digital currency you would like to purchase.
- Select your card as the ‘Payment’ method.
- Confirm the information entered is correct and select ‘Buy Digital Currency’.
Coinbase is a big business with a lot of experience. The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, etc. all say it is a good, safe place to put your money when buying and selling cryptocurrency.
Now, I’m not going to show you how to sell because that would be a little too personal. (It would show my bank account.) However, it is very easy and very fast.
